Throwing $5,000 at something isn't much of a risk as it's not life savings. Throw $1000 at 5 different coins maybe? Had you bought $1000 of bitcoin just 2.5 years Christmas 2015, it was around $300 per, now it's $10,000 per. That $1000 would be $33,300 today and remember, Bitcoin peaked at almost 20,000 per coin

I know this because I had 3 bitcoins I sold in November 2015
