It got me to thinking. Why can every law be overridden by an executive order? Early Americans railed against the monarchy and instituted three supposedly equal levels of government but the country now has an empire and emperor. Sad.....

The idea was to allow the Executive Branch to do somethings that required immediate action, such as declaring war, or a state of emergency, that was within the law and the defined powers but perhaps needed action before Congress could meet. They are always subject to being reviewed by both Judicial and Legislative branches. This guy just plain has a god complex and is swaggering about promising to do things he can't, like order states or churches to reopen or violate the Constitution.
He is going to try to have his own way but it won't work. Twitter upped the ante this morning with actually slapping a warning up on one of his tweets. It does make sense as his followers blindly do whatever he says. If his tweets inciting or glorifying violence are now behind a warning, maybe they will think twice.. nah.. that is asking too much of them. I got my popcorn going on this one.
