Sleepy Friday August 9th (aka Look Who's Back!) <--- Title By GG

EDIT By Greenguy: I rarely do something like this, but since Bill hasn't been here in a few & he posted this in yesterday's thread, I wanted to make sure everyone saw it. Enjoy!

So after years of coming across Greeny's straight world name and posts in instagram and FB every now and then (noting his politics - congruent with mine - and his general rock-n-roller cultural vibe {and I am a music and dancing obsessive, something I don't think I openly talked about much when I was here in the ancient days of the Golden Age of Porn Webmastering})....

... after years of noting he was still alive, which always made me smile, I come across him saying something about the new Tool album. Somebody wisecracks about the big track being 17 hours long. It's 10:30 min or thereabout, actually. Starts slow. Anyway, I make the comment that at about 1:50 it really starts kickin' it. And that I am diggin' it. An impulsive comment, really. Then I check GGs timeline and I'm like, well, cool, he's still strapped with classic liberal guns, and he's blazing away at the sickness at the top of our social order.

Now, I think that this happened shortly after he, for some reason posted a comment on my timeline. (I think I am doing well in the facebook algo at the moment, that is, my personal profile and various posts on various pages and groups are getting pushed more by the new FB AIs that decide who gets to see what. Because I write a lot, and participate in conversations. And I do experiments with the algo, lol.)

Long story short, I message him asking if there was a place where people still talked about the biz. And we have a fine conversation. About traffic stealin' muthafuckers and the good old days and the bad new days and strip clubs and sex toys, you know, the usual.

It's wild to see so many people still here talking.

Not much biz talk tho. Well, after i refresh my sense of the state of the biz, I'll probably wanna start a few discussions of this and that.
