I would get my own domain, download a copy of
Wordpress, its free.
Check around the blogging forum for some useful tools.
If your not going to be able to hand write posts, then I recommend you get
Blog Automater, its not free but but there is a fully functional trial version that will handle enough blogs that you can figure out if this is the direction you want to go.
Then use your sponsor feeds to populate the blog and away you go.
