Question So what's a Free Site good for anyway?

Okay, while I'm thinking about it this morning, there is one
more question I have for everyone here, and that's this one:

"What's a Free Site good for?"

What I mean by this is that probably everyone here knows that
you can build a nice free site and submit it to a link list.

And maybe most folks know that you can make your own "hub"
page to list the sites you build.

But aside from that, what else are free sites good for?

Are there some other things you do with the free sites you
build, besides submitting them to Link Lists? Or do you just
build them, submit them, put them on your hub page and
move on to building more?

And to take this one step further, what can someone who is
not a Link List owner do with all of the sponsor hosted free
sites that are available? Are there some ways that non-LL
owners can make use of them?

Any and all tips appreciated here.

Simon
