isp services canada
Hi all, Got an isp question for all you canadian folks.
As you may have heard emmy and i are getting ready to move and were looking for a good isp for the new house. Can anyone recommend a good service provider and the sort of tariff we should go for? It needs to be high speed obviously with good upload / download rates. Thanks for any replies ![]() |

I've been using sympatico for a couple of years with no problems, I don't use it for anything other than getting connected though, no e-mail or anything else. I used Rogers before, but had too much downtime and it was actually slower because I'm in a high density area.

My friend who lives in a new development gets waaaaaaaay faster speeds on Rogers/Videotron, than I do on Bell's DSL which is the only thing available in my neighbourhood. Make sure that you grab a business account so that you don't have to worry about overages.

I've got Rogers hi speed as well, I've heard others who've had problems but it's been very good for me. Mind you, with home & cell phones, cable pkg & net all with them, the bill looks awful
