CCBill Help
So taking on some advise, im trying to use a few sponsors that deal with CCBill but it's a tad confusing.
Normally when you signup with a non-ccbill sponsor, you get a id. Thats pretty clear. When I signup with a sponsor that uses ccbill, I get an affiliate id. Whats not clear to me is do I use my primary ID or the one that I got assigned when I joined the new sponsor?

Use the code you got when you joined the new sponsor. The primary ID will only be used when you log in to check stats, or for that one sponsor that matches that primary ID.

Don't feel bad for not being sure. It really does need to be explained better.
Even though we send out a letter showing exactly what code to use on our link, I can't tell you how many times I've looked over a new affiliate's site and find that not only is the affiliate ID in our link code wrong, but every CCBill sponsor link on the page has that same wrong ID in the link code. I've even had a couple of (ex) affiliates argue with us about which ID they had to use. At least you asked first. ![]()

Just in case you did not know, when you sign up under new ccbill sponsors make sure to merge (check box on bottom before hitting submit) with your primary. This way you will receive one check.
Makes it so easy to get paid for those one off sales when its combined with others ![]() |

And for those programs with cascading that automatically create accounts, you can ask ccBill to do a manual merge.

Thanks everybody for the information. I only got 3 ccbill sponsors right now but I think i'll get them merged until they all take off.

Just keep them merged. I'm having trouble thinking of any reason to not have them that way.

So if I get them all merged, I still have to use the individual affID's that I was assigned when I joined or can I use my primary for anything?

You still need to use a different affiliate ID in the link code for each program you join, but you only need the one primary ID to login at CCBill to check your stats if you merge everything under one primary ID. And of course all sales will be grouped into one check for you too.
