Where is this traffic coming from and is it worth keeping??

ive been looking through my stats (awstats) and have noticed over the past few months there are days when i will get anywhere from 100-1000 visitors from these sites --> for-your.us.tt and wkcash.com Both sites just lead to an adult friend finder sign up page. I am not nor have i ever been affiliated with adult friend finder. The majority of my traffic comes from link lists and search engines. Why is this traffic coming to my site? why is the referral page adult friend finder? is this traffic worth while or should i try and block it from my site??? Thanks!

It's just a bot trying to rank up in your referrers so if you have a webpage that shows referrers hopefully a real person will click it and visit their site. You'll see most of them have '************' in the logs - some type of ppc program.

Like HowlingWulf said. The only way to get rid of them is to use htaccess, however, I've found they just change their IP and they are right back soon after.

Now who ever said that AFF wasn't "plain evil"?

Why do you think that most of us refuse to list sites that promote AFF?

Aw, Dad, you've done a lot of great things, but you're a very old man, and old people are useless

It seems I get these refers myself when I use a link dump... I don't know which one cause I had I huge list of FFA dumps.

I'm not certain of this but I know i got a boatload of em on a brand new domain when I submitted the only site off it to some dumps and BAM there they were again.

So if your dumping links that may be what spawns them.
