Just getting further into hurricane season here, so hotter, more humidity, a rainstorm of some kind every day, and checking the weather widget every once in a while to see if there are any big storms building out there. Oh, and keeping busy with some of that mind-numbing stuff (work I mean). .

Finally got tired of having to scroll right to view web pages, so, no more bookmark sidebar for me. Now I'm forced to view pages that believe a left margin of 0px is cool, so that the text sits right on the edge, but, many believe a right margin of 200px+ is cool, so, even though the display screen is bigger and I don't have to scroll, it's easy to see a few pixels that could easily be moved around. Take some of that 200+ from the right and put it on the left. And I hate cnnfn.com's occasional video that starts automatically, so, there's another site off my surfing list. Updated safari, but, they still don't really understand the term 'tabbed browsing'. Even with the little tweak everyone mentions as the fix, a particular app forces a popup.
Other than that, I'll be irritating a web designer today and tomorrow with my html style guidelines and wacky theories on usability. The second half of the year is showing quite a bit of promise. Hope everyone has a good start as well.

2 days until our big party, but I'll be working on here all day as I just know I won't be able to work at all for the next 2 weeks - party & XBiz are really going to eat up my time from here on out. It's also Free Agency day for the NHL. Contracts expire at noon & I really hope the guys I have in my fantasy league land on good teams |

 Morning...Happy Canada Day, eh!! I decided last week to revamp my entire inventory system after finding 3 boxes of unopened inventory sitting in the hall that I'd forgotten about. Now I'm sorry I went this route because it shows me just how much $$ i've spent and how much I've just left sitting there dammit. I have company coming today from the East.. and it will be non-stop company until the 24th of July. The only ones I'm overly excited to see are the Xbiz ones. The rest just want to do boring ass shit like walk on the strip, gamble and go to clubs.  Candi the cleaner is coming today.. YEAH and until then I'll be in inventory hell. June went by fast and thats good because overal it sucked for me with sales. Started well and then went to shit fast. Back to the oral surgeon today to get stitches out of my mouth and find out when I can chew again. I did loose 11 lbs with this liquid diet but I'm sure it will all come back when real food, and junk, start flying down my throat again |

I ended up in the ER last night. I partially tore my hamstring running to first base in a softball game. I pulled it Friday during a game, played another game Saturday and hurt it worse, then practiced on it Sunday thinking it was ok as long as I didnt go too hard on it. Well with my team tied for second and we were playing our arch rivals (the team we split from a couple years ago) who were tied with us I threw caution to the wind and ran as hard as I could to beat a play at first, I was safe and got an rbi, but now my season is probably over. It was without a doubt the worst pain I have felt in my life. I damn near fainted, but managed to stay in the dugout and coached my team to a 9-8 win before getting carried to the car and wheel chaired into the hospital. I am pretty drugged up right now for the pain, so if I get around to getting anything made and submitted free sites wise today I apologize in advance for any fuck ups I might make.
