Sleepy Dead Rats, sore muscles, way to much to do. It must me Monday First Monday of February 2014

Woke up to our newest cat looking so proud of his kill that he brought in.

Rat blood and guts cleaned up.

Naturally yesterday's fence post repair turned out to be a whole lot harder than I thought it would be. After we dug out around the old fence posts we could see that not enough concrete had been put around them and the posts were totally rotted out at ground level.

Then it started raining really hard.

Not wanting to drive to Home Depot covered in mud we looked around the house for something to repair the fence with since all we had were three bags of concrete, that we bought a few weeks ago.

Luckily we had some left over sections of fence posts laying around so we bolted these to the non rotted part of the old fence posts using the bolts that we saved from the shipping crates that our washer and dryer shipped with. We used the three bags of concreted, but wished we had bought one more bag.

Didn't work all weekend so lots of catching up to do today.
