New to the game
I was thinking of start up my own little site. Nothing huge. Just something to make a little extra cash and some fun with. But I really don't know where to start.
What exactly are sponsors sites? (I know what a sponsor is. But how does these work?) And I know a little about HMTL. So could maybe handle building my own site if I had some tools and a good place to start. Also, is there a good place to search for models? Does most people who run small sites use local girls? Other sites content? I'd probably like to use a little both myself. I know really nothing about the business. I am not looking for some hardcore sex stuff. More along the lines of playboy material. |

Best bet is to start with a hub site like a blog, tgp or link list.
So you just make a page you like and add links to photo sets and videos you like, maybe a certain niche like Hot Girls, Girls with Bigtits or whatever. Shooting models or local girls means a lot of investment and since you know nothing that would be a BAD idea. You need to learn the terms, what is what and how to generate traffic so if you do build a site with local girls/other models you can get people to it, |

You can now put whatever you want in this space :)

A sponsor runs a pay site and surfers, using their credit cards, buy subscriptions from the site in order to view the porn. As an affiliate, you can refer surfers from your little site and earn a commission. Sponsors usually offer affiliates free content so that you don't have to photograph your own models. If you go to a porn pay site there is usually a webmaster link at the bottom where you can sign up. Greenguy has a comprehensive guide to porn sponsors here:

Aw, Dad, you've done a lot of great things, but you're a very old man, and old people are useless

Yes I agree with above. Unless you have a good amount of money and photograph (video) experience...shooting your own material should only be left for the more experienced. Plus your traffic early on won't cover the cost of the shoot, so you're better off waiting until you get some decent traffic to cross that bridge.
I would pick a niche or a topic that you would like to cover. Sounds like maybe Solo-Girls, or Softcore type stuff might be what you are looking to do so I would start there. Picking sponsors is probably an on-going process. You never really know what your traffic is going to react to until you run some tests. Keep in mind that some of your traffic is not going to be interested in paying for porn...so traditional "paysites" although a great addition to your portfolio, shouldn't be the only thing you go for. Hope this helps! Good luck and let us know how it turns out. |
