.pst - HELP!

Hi

Not sure if anyone has a fix to this problem, after backing up outlook to a pst file andmoving to a new machine it wont open stating I do not have permission.

During the export I did not alter anything, I did 2 exports one worked the second did not.

Just off to see the chap in town to see ifhe can help though any ideas of where to look would be a real help - All my mail is in there :-(

All this coz I wanted to wipe my machine

Try comparing the ownership permissions on the old machine with the new. If you were an administrator on the old machine, and not on the new, that may be the source of your problem...

cheers would you happen to have alink which explains this?

Its a real ass the file says 168Mb though when I try in import it fails and when I check the file size its 256K -

Some tims this is computer yoke is a pain in the ass
