Any Flash gurus here?
Apparently Flash has the ability to put a picture on a page if someone doesn't have the Shockwave player installed. For instance if they go to a site and they don't have Shockwave installed, you can put a still picture there instead instead of having a broken graphic.
Anyone know how to do this? ![]()

I got the answer to this on another board, here it is in case anyone else is trying to do the same thing:
In your publish settings, check off HTML, SWF & either JPG OR Gif. Then in the html tab. Select Detect Flash. Then publish the file. It will write a javascript that dectes for flash. If flash isn't available, it will try to auto-install. If it can't, it will display an image. If they don't have javascript enabled, it will also display the image. It's cake if you let flash write the code for you.
