If you have ImageReady you can use it to open the mpeg and convert it to an animated Gif.

Best bet is to grab one of the mpg to avi converter programs. Lots around. Try NoNags.com or serach for some.
Once it is in avi format most graphics programs can do the conversion to gif. MS-GifAnimator does read avi's. |

I know that ImageReady reads .mov files so I guess you need to convert it to that first.
MPEG Streamclip does this for Mac users, not sure what does this on the PC side of things. |
