http://thextimes.com/ is not a classical linklist if I got it right. PPL submitting to thextimes will not acheive PR (or will acheive downgraded by google). And among other things their sites could be targets of nasty things like inframe loading or something. This is why many ppl do not consider getting traff from redirection.
Though I hope that I.M. isn't planing to do such tricks.
