Hello again.

I hadn't gotten any replies or advice about my sites from my last post, and was thinking of submitting this one

to the 8 of you I have recips for posted.

While I was on Cleo's site I saw the link to a banned list and checked it...it seems my site is blocked by you all, and that would make it futile to submit the site if it passes approval.

Does that mean I got banned for submitting a gallery to link-o-rama, when greenguy as you all informed me does not accept galleries?
I have appealed online....but am at a loss if there is something else that I can do.

I realize this business is brutal now...but does my single small mistake mean I am blackballed forever?
That does not seem fair

Again any recommendations from you pros are most welcome.

The GreenGuy is on vacation and will not be back for a few more days so if that is who put you there you are going to have to wait for his return for an answer.

Thanks for letting me know.....I am not even sure if it was GreenGuy or another.
Is there a list somewheres that tells who uses that ban list?
I only found that list on your site, because I tunnel around trying to find all the requirements and rules before submitting to a site..
I was planning on submitting this site to you and thus wanted to make sure I met all your rules.
Are there any other ban lists that you know out there that I can check to see if I'm on them...I've heard of such lists but the one from your site is the only one I ever found.

Srcharp you were on for submitting a gallery to LOR so its off now just submit only sites not tgp galleries

I hadn't realized GreenGuy did not accept gallery pages.
As I mentioned in the newbie thread you were at the top of the list for TGP's to submit to in a couple help/training sites, and I missed in the rules there o post sites or better, until after the fact.
That won't happen again.

First I check my mail and see you have listed me, then I check my stats at ARS on my galleries and find I had $242 in sign ups there

Nice Day all around....even getting traffic to some of my sites from both google and alltheweb when I checked earlier.

I am going to try a couple more to vary my sponsers, but they have been been very good at converting in the 1/160 range overall for uniques.
ONE I think may be ripping me off, for they are only showing about 50 hits a day on galleries that are similar to my ARS sale pages making the same 4-20k uniques a day, but the ARS are showing at least 500 per day from equivalent galleries.
Plus I have not yet gotten a REPORTED sale from over 700 REPOrTED uniques from IT.
I am so sure THAT ONE is skimming I'm undecided whether to change my pitch there or just drop them.

I like you are new to the game...look at the problem I had here.

As a rookie what is working for me is making my main banners a full sign up, but varying the links later in the page.
Hell $25 each for 10 sign ups for free trials sure beats one sign up for $45 for a full.
And actually I am finding fulls and $4.99 trials are actually neck and neck with the free.

Thus far out of over 800 sign ups in almost 4 months I've only had less then 30 chargebacks...course last month isn't resolved yet so who knows


Back to the track...and this is the wrong thread perhaps...any recommendations for sponsers?

I only have my first actual site listed only at Cleo's at this moment...I do have many more to submit, but I am patient.

All the traffic and sales thus far have been from me trying to learn the tgp world.

This is my first venture into free sites, and it was accidental as I had thought GreenGuy accepted galleries.

That is where my trouble started here...which looks like it has been fixed.

This only advanced my biz plan.

I have a lot of purchased content...some even original

1) Galleries, till the content in that gallery runs out

2) Soon as I have used several pages of galleries, convert them to updating free sites.

3) Keeping the galleries going of course with the fresh content.

4) When I have enough content on my free sites they are actually worth something.....convert them to AVS

That is counting the parallel movie galleries and sites.

5)Eventually create a pay site out of that niche.

6)Keep the income, and increase it to get really kickin original content in my own niche.

7)Make like my friend 3 mil a year....lol

Not sure if that will all work, or even if it is the right way...but that is my biz plan.

Nope...they usually don't tell us I found....richards usualy does tell me why a gallery doesn't get accepted......scrolls or images...whatever...but I am getting everything I submit with them as well as goatlist accepted on the spot now...a few get bumped ocasionally due to something I did while updating, but as soon as I fix that it is listed.

I submit everything by hand...do my html either by hand or dreamweaver, then by hand
Use webalizer on my domains to anylize, and wstr as a back up.
I rent 120 gig of redundant webspace with unlimited bandwidth.
Way more then I need now...but I want to learn and grow.

I am possibly doing it all wrong...do not necesarily do what I'm doing, tho thus far it is working for me....course the 20 websites for busineses I'm handling for local business is a bonus

All I can say is scour the help files all over the net...I wasn't ready to post sites, but amdoing so now because of my missubmit to Green Guy...I am in NO WAY an expert...only a chump that this far has gotten lucky

Good luck, and though they are probably saying the same of me...don't spam the boards too much

srcharp, I hope I didn't come across as trying to police the board. I knew you were new to GG&J and it is a different enviorment than on other boards. Most of the post are informative, there is a place to chit-chat and if you think that you have problems with a sponsor you can privately ask for help from Greenguy and Jim by clicking the "HELP" button.

Shaving is a major topic for newbies and there have been my treads start and numerous articles written on ratios. If I am not mistaken the sponsor you mentioned only counts click thrus to the second page. There are different ways that hits are counted.

I have enjoyed reading your post and good luck with your plan.

srcharp and chop you are both right. Sponsors use different methods to calculate their click thrus. Some sponsors take advantage of these methods.
