I just got the tip cut off...

I just got the tip cut off.... my nose

I had a real nasty growth there or something that wouldnt heal and bled quite a bit so i hit up the dermatologist today and he took off a nice chunk for a biopsy.

Said if it wasnt cancer it'll heal and if it is cancer we'll know in a week. Even if it is, its just basal cell skin cancer. Its not that big of a deal. I dont want my woes to even be compared to some of the good folks here who have fought cancer themselves or have had a love one go through it.

Anyways, real funny story. As he's giving me an injection he says

"Now steve you need to hold still when I give you this, its gonna hurt a lot. You've got a ton of nerve endings in the end of your nose almost as many as that other really important spot."

Took me a second to get it but i was laughing when he was injecting me. Now that's some great bedside manner

Anyways, just thought I'd share.

Yeah I exaggerated a bit. All in all he didnt remove all that much. It will cause a small divit in my nose but in the end its gonna be fine.
