How many reccuring members?
Boobdollars is for sale. They state that they have around 1,600 recurring members. They seem pretty proud of it. That doesn't seem like that many to me. How many members do medium size paysites usally have? What do you think.

1600 members is a LOT of members.
$24.95 per member less affiliate payout and your looking at about $20,000-25,000 a month in recurring revenue. (Plus new signups that do not stay but still a few dollars in your pocket) He is asking too much anyway. |

With a 50/50 split that's 1/2 of $40,000 a month. Take out another $10k in over head including processing fees, hosting, advertising and other things and you're left with about $10k a month.
That's not bad at all and when you add in new sales and upsells I'm sure they're making good money but they're asking for a lot. |

Its a good number. Definitely not high, but you should be able to turn a good profit off that many after expenses.
Most programs I have been involved with break even at around 200 recurring members.

It all depends on overhead, if you can keep it low then you can make a very good living off 1600 recurring members. I doubt that 100% of their sales are affiliate driven, so that would make it much more profitable.
Does anyone know who much they are asking? |

FTV Girls has a TON of members, more than the average web site.
SirMoby I was not going on the 50/50 rule. I was basing my numbers on the fact I'm sure he gets a percentage if inhouse sales. And you're right. Add upsells, the inflow of many 5 day trials that cancel and other things inside and 1600 members can bring in a lot. 2000 members is a lot to get to but there is no reason you cannot do it. Lots of promotion and a good members area keeping members for 3+ months each is all you need. Boobdollars and all sites and all content (there's a lot) is $750K+ |

Well you know boys, a nuclear reactor is a lot like women. You just have to read the manual and press the right button

1600 members is not much, it's nice but not much

200 members X $24.95 = $4990.00 minus processing fees and affiliate payouts and you're still clearing $2000 EASY (plus new trial sales that cancel) and that is not enough for hosting and content updates? I think it is unless it is an exclusive content site with videos needed. |

Among paying hosting and making updates I want to put something to my pocket.

Why couldn't a pay site have 10k? There was a teen video site that had no affiliate program and stating that he had 15k and based on the cost of his marketing I believe it.
