I checked out the PR on this site, not too sure how new it is but seeing it's only pr 2/3 I'm assuming it's fairly new.

If it is a newbie - I suggest you watch your mouth! There is no need to be rude to people and it's very simple to make alot of enemies very fast, just simply reject the site if you don't like it - there is no need to be a total asshole in the process mate.

Any background on who this is would be appreciated so I know not to submit to any more of their sites... if they have any.

This has to be a kid who really just don't know how to be mature in dealing with people for business. Im sure they think thats funny and showing all there college buddies how funny it is to see all the rejections going out like that. Besides who in their right mind claims they are in a HQ anymore. I beg to differ... It IS a free site - it has an index page and 2 galleries, I decide not to set out my sites with a main page, where 1 gallery leads to another and if they want to click back on their browser - they can.

It has everything that any other free site has except the main page, I choose to lose that extra page of advertising through shear simplicity and speed.

Agreed...the site may not follow the standard layout, but it also doesn't break any standard rules.

I'd have no problem listing it

I ran across a site owner a few months ago who's initial decline mail was downright rude and nasty. He actually went so far as to say that I should rethink my business model. Needless to say, I no longer submit to him.

There are a handful of site owners out there that seem to have more than a bit of a Napoleon complex

Fortunately, they are in the minority. There are far more site owners who are more than reasonable.

It seems to work no better or worse - I just like doing it this way.
To me it makes more sense to try and follow a flow and get the surfer to my main goal (the member site) with the least amount of hassle. If I get them to think there is more of what they see on my site, they are far more likely to continue to the next site and hopefully make a sale

What works for one, may not work for another.
My main pint of this thread is just to bring it to attention that just because a site is different - it doesn't make it 'SHIT' as the owner of adult-collections.com was all to quick to do.

Sticking with the whole abbreviation theme IMHO most webmasters that I have come across do not conduct submissions in this way. It's just the few that do should be brought to light and made to change if they want to stay in this business.

Our owner was too excited about your free site to decline it by such a rude words. We feel sorry for this.

The reasons of decline were the following:
1. The structure of free site doesn't meet our requirements
2. You used javascript in the code, that is not allowed as well

To get this information earlier you should write the letter to our e-mail.

My issue wasn't with the rejection mate - It was purely the fact that he swore at me for no reason!

I have no problem with someone doing so in jest or if I have really done something to justify it; but I'm not so much of a mug to stand back and let someone bad-mouth me through preference.

Your site has been removed from my submission lists so hopefully your man will never have dealings with me again.

Your apology is accepted - but please make sure that if whoever does your site rejections in the future has good reason to do so and without the use of explietives.
