Sorry to post when the answer is "No". No spare cash at all here plus I hear they've sold out in the UK already.

We're very excited about Perfect Dark Zero. We're Nintendo freaks here but if this game is any good we'll be instantly converted.

Nintendo flushed their UK market down the toilet with the Gamecube. Not moving with the times was a bad bad move.

I've been reading where some people are having issues such as games locking up as soon as you start them and not saving when they say its been saved, but since it's still a new system that is to be expected, I was going to wait a year or so before I got one, but then I found out “The Elder Scrolls Oblivion“ will be coming out on 360 only and not Xbox, so once Oblivion comes out I plan on getting my 360.

Play the downloads, just too incredible for words.

MS was stupid to cut shipments to create hype
My Target for 20 units at launch and 5 got returned for having problems.
Ebay is having a field day with stupid buyers shelling out thousands for a console.
Modded Xbox360 Cool looking but not worth $4600.. people!

i have to go on a rant about this. i have been enjoying the original xbox since its release and i was going to buy the 360.. until I heard what they were offering. A fuggin deluxe package and a basic package? WTF were you thinking microsoft?? obviously you weren't thinking about the diehard gamers out there. It really ticks me off that by not including the hard drive in EVERY platform, they made the system that much less powerful and even more of a hassle for programmers. J Allard is pissin in his pants thinking about the hit microsoft might take if all his hype doesn't pay off. He admitted this system was for the general public, not for the true gamer. There's my two sleep deprived cents

One of the more "popular" XBOX 360 problems I've been reading about is caused not by the unit but by its gigantic power adapter. The adapter overheats and causes stability problems with the unit. Some people have resorted to hanging it vertically to increase airflow around it to keep it cool.

no 360 here... I dont have the heart to:
beat the crap out of an old lady to get one
trample other store patrons to get one
follow a woman on a fixed income home and rob her when she gets out of her car to get one
all of which happened when people were desperate to get their hands on one of these boxes. it'll be at least a year, maybe 2 before i run out of xbox games, ps2 games and gamecube games to play...

its not the number of games I actually own thats important. It the number of systems. I have 3, and all 3 (well maybe not the gamecube) have all been having games produced for them for a good while. So I can always find a time killer when I want one for one of those platforms. Top if off with the fact that theres not a lot of time for me to spend on them, I got plenty of time to start thinking about the 360.... which i have no doubt this 38 year old will eventually buy "For the kids"

You got a point there, with 3 systems the're more than enough games to choose from...
I only got an xbox and a broken gamecube, but now that I hear about all the troubles
with the 360 it might be a good idea to wait a while before I buy one.

I have 2 broken PS2, one of them has my Gran Turismo 3 game still inside

A friend and co-worker of me got his XboX 360 last friday it was the last one in the entire shopping center/mall (btw. Wijnegem for Cucumber )
We played with it at the office for a while, the graphics are awesome and so is the gameplay. I'm gonna buy myself another PS2 whenever the new PS3 comes out

I am thinking this way...
As long as it's a software problem, MS will send updates through the web to fix any problems. If it is a hardware problem, we (those that got them) are screwed.

Not quite Jim, Xbox had a power adapter issue and MS sent out new ones for free, and if it was internal hardware I'd bet MS would issue a recall where they fix or replace. They are spending a lot of $ just on the PR alone, so they do not want any negative publicity over it.
