Who's using Advanced Submitter - how is it?

I'm starting free site building everyday so I obviously want to make everything as smooth as possible and maximize my time so I'm going to get advanced submitter.

A few questions about it:

For the sites I submit too will I just have to add the particular site (eg tommy's) to my database, and each site not in the database AS provides? I hear some say the db is pretty out of date?

Will I need other tools I think I read it has an auto form filler.

Finally I know free sites cannot be auto submitted so with AS how do you submit? Do you open each submit page through the software and just submit it manually?

After writing this I think I should just get it and start using it!

Thanks

Hello mrenaud, I have been using As for quite awhile and it is definately a time saver. Yes you will have to input sites into the db. No you really dont need any other tools that I know of. AS has a auto submit function and does form filling. You can set it to open 10 browsers at a time and it will fill in the forms-you go through and make sure everything is correct and hit submit. It will not fill in all forms correctly so you will most likely have to go through and input the site specific codes to make it work for all your sites. There is the occasional site that it just wont work well with but not to many. I didny know how to use it at all when I bought it but you will figure it out pretty quick. Good Luck!

I'll keep my eye on this thread. I bought roboform and it saved me a ton of time on my submits. On first glance at their webpage it looks like Advanced Submitter has many more features than roboform. I'm not sure how many of these are must have's or nice to have's.

Is it worth the extra $$$? $98 as opposed to $25 with roboform?

I have never used roboform so I can not comment on that specific program but I am very happy with AS. There is alot of site specific rules to put in but once you are done it is a huge help.

AS is Roboform on steroids
It's a great tool for submitting with
Not auto submitting - but it can fill 99% of fields for you

Here's a tip
If you don't use AS to make the recip tables - just use the free version!

And take a look at the Linklist-Tutorial which I've written, you'll find it together with the other Tutorials at the "Page Creator" Tab

To update those in the thread I'm finding AS quite hard to learn.

I got in over a week ago, I'm finally making progress but still have troubles.

The main problem now is the database. Hard to get going with that. I haven't actually use AS to submit a free site or gallery with yet, but I've built pages and mirrors, and can see the auto fill feature alone will save huge time.

Once I learn to use this program to its full potential (fuck in my case use it!) it will definately be a very productive tool!

And one slip up will get you banned all over the place. Just go cautiously into that good night, cause I see plenty of mirrors that get all fucked up by those submission programs. Seems that many of their users don't test, or even view, their auto-built mirrors.

I wonder if hjnet will be back to spam his shit?

Useless Warrior, I see what your saying but I'm not going to autosubmit anything. And I will be checking each page manually before submission to avoid the good old blacklist.

About the AS database which is provided... Don't bother with, I'd suggest you delete it and start from scratch, its way out dated and full of errors.

Uh, nice words you're saying here about me. But maybe you should get your facts straight before you post, at first Advancedsubmitter isn't my "shit", I'm only building (and selling) databases for it, I'm not the program owner, I'm not a sales rep. and I'm not their affiliate.

And the stock database which mrenaud is actually using was built by myself for free a few months ago, cause the old DB was pretty much outdated. I haven't received a single cent therefore, I've only built the stock DB to give users something to start with.
And at the same time I've also written the Tutorials (for free again), and I'm sorry if they aren't good enough for you, but everybody is invited to write a better one.

Additionally I'd like to mention that I never enabled autosubmission on any of my DBs, and that I'm only submitting manually myself, and that I always suggest my costumers to stick with manual submission cause it simply gives better results in the long run.
So if you (Useless Warrior) receive any fucked up freesites I'm feeling sorry for you, but I can almost guarantee that these are not comming from one of my DB clients.

And finally I'd be happy if you could forbear from any swearing the next time you're talking with or about me

Fuck you.

Did I say that the databases you're always spamming caused the issues? No, I didn't. The issues those shit submittors cause is almost always from the duplication process. The same lazy-ass free site builders who use them don't bother to check what their sites look like or even if the enter link still works. That's experience talking, not conjecture.

Anyway, bite me, ya sig whore. If you want polite debate, you're dealing with the wrong cocksucker.

You really seem to have some issues, I've already explained to you that I'm not responsible for any software, I'm not even a programmer, my only work are the DBs, and since you've referred to my "shit" in your initial post I can only assume that you've meant my DBs, cause otherwise your entire post would be useless?

I've just done a reverse IP lookup on one of your domains, and it seems as if your site(s) aren't even in ANY of the databases advancedsubmitter uses, so whatever your problem might be, it's for sure not caused by me or advancedsubmitter.

But nomen est omen, you seem to knew it yourself

I thought I had posted in this thread earlier, guess not. If I catch anything that looks like an autosubmit I ban it.

I don't want to answer a ton of questions on how they look from a reviewer perspective I just want to say that the experience reviewer has a mental list of all the telltale signs of autosubmitting.

The difference is very pronounced to the trained eye between a hand submit and an autosubmit.

Why do you and your crippled ego think that I'm blaming you for the issues we reviewers have with autosubmission proggies? When did I say "it's that spamming hjnet's fault". The only thing I've accused you of is coming here to spam your databases everytime AS is mentioned. Get over yourself. I've never accused you of being bright enough to program anything.

As for my sites, you do realize that AS isn't the only submitor out there, right? Would you like to keep this going? I've had a good night sleep and I'd be more than happy to do this all day long.

Issues? You're fucking right.

Ok, so this "discussion" seems to be rather useless, let's end this and stick to the topic again.

When did it become a discussion? You're the nutjob who thinks I'm blaming you for the fact that many people who use auto submittors suck ass.
