Question When is it time to move on?

Ok, so I was wondering when is it time to move on from a sponsor? I seem to be increasing my traffic to my sponsor well enough but I am not seeing the results I expected. I am finishing with ratios such as 1:1400, 1:1300, 1:2500 and so on and so on. I am making sales but not at the rate I was hoping for (who does make sales at the rate they hope for? ) but these #'s seem alittle high to me. I seem to recall reading somewhere that if your sponsors wont convert in the area of 1:500-1:700 it may be time to checkout other sponsors. Any idea's,comments,or suggestions???
