what's wrong with this site?

For starters... Blind Links all over!
If you took the time to read the rules (I know greenies link-o-rama and my site have this rule) - must have Min 20 pics (you only have 18) but also must have 2 pages (2 galleries) with a min of 10 pics on each gallery. Another rule you broke is 3 outgoing links only per page and on the index you have 4 - same with your second page. (a link to your "hub" is considered an outgoing link) The site is lovely and well put together, but we have certain rules we would like followed. |

Make a few changes and it would be a nice free site.
Have the index link to a main page where you have links to 2 galleries and maybe a bonus video gallery with the story and everything on it. The 2 galleries must have 10 pics each though so you'll need 2 more pics. If you do not want to do the bonus video gallery you could have the video and story on that main page that links to the 2 pic galleries. |

I am just not going to bother anymore telling people why they didnt get listed. It is clear they DONT READ THE RULES!!!!
and when you spell out the rules they come back and have some excuse or imply you need to change your rules to fit their sites. I know how hard it is to build a free site .. takes me at least 1 full day - I dont use any programs, templates or auto submitters and my html sucks - and everyone thinks their freesite is the best, perfect, prettiest, most clever site.. I know I think that about mine ... but that wont do me any good if I didnt read the rules to the Link Lists I am submitting to and end up breaking a rule or 2 - Sometimes you can get away with a few infractions... or bend a rule or 2 - and it will also depend on each link list's reviewers perception of what a clean free site should be - what I might consider a blind link might be passable for another reviewer and vice versa. Either conform to the Link List rules or find somewhere else to get your site listed for traffic. |

 EvGenius...you may run into some listing issues because of your host as well. Your NS lead to an expired domain...many link sites these days want to be able to confirm your hosting. Beyond that issue, yes your site is filled with blind links. A board search will return some very good threads on the subject. You'll get very good advice in these forums as to how to get listed. But, questioning or ignoring that advice is not the best way to build up a reputation as a quality free site submitter. Best of luck to you in your free site endeavors. Your site has a lot of potential...you obviously have some skills. Take heed of the advice proferred in these forums and you could go a long way |
