Music For Content?

Hello all,

I have a question regarding music for adult films.

Basically, I'm contemplating starting up a music production house to cater to the thousands of adult production companies that are out there. My concern is that I will invest X amount of time to building my company, only to find out that the music market in porn is cornered by a handful of production houses, and there will be no profit for me.

I am currently producing exclusive music for 1 production company, but obviously I'd like to know if there are any others out there that require this service.

Yes there is a need, but generally producers wont be willing to pay much for the music, me included. There seems to be a lot of royalty free stuff out there, hard to say if they lease stuff out to porn or not. If you could make some tunes in mass and put it out as royalty free, you might have a shot, if its in the hundreds of songs and is fairly cheap.
