![]() I'm looking to set up processing and an affiliate program for products that aren't inherently "adult" in nature. Since the products are not adult I don't need an adult processor and have lots of options available, but I want to make sure I choose something that potential affiliates will be comfortable with.
At the moment I'm looking at Clickbank, Paycom, Kagi and RegNow.com (same parent company as CCNow), and I'm wondering if anyone has any experience using any of them as a 3rd party processor as either a merchant or affiliate. I know Paycom and CCNow are familiar names with lots of you, but Kagi and Clickbank are 100% mainstream so you might or might not know them. Any experiences, horror stories, etc? Know of someone else I should be looking at? TIA Last edited by MadMax; 2006-01-25 at 06:52 PM.. |

Hey Madmax.
I started out using CCNow for processing on one of my mainstream sites for products i make myself. I changed over to Paypal a couple of months later because there were no monthly fees, and the transaction fees were a little higher. Plus I like the fact that there are a lot of scripts out there now for affiliate programs with IPN support for Paypal. And also the ability to pay your affiliates with Paypal, cutting out the costs of mailing checks and whatever. Goodluck. |

Just in case, is there an affiliate tracking script you can recommend? |

Is it going to be all digital products, where you have the link to the download emailed after purchase is complete?
If so, you might look at... http://www.x-cart.com/ http://www.x-cart.com/affiliate_program.html - add on for affiliates. Hope that helps. ![]() |

We used Kagi to sell a software program to the public (which included porn surfers and webmasters) and never had a single problem.
Good company, good tech support, always received payment, no problems. ![]() |
