Hello everyone!

I'm totally new to the Adult Webmaster world. I find myself in the position of having a lot of free time these days. I also have a dedicated server that has plenty of spare resources. I'm thinking about trying gallery submissions. Is there a tutorial or other resources I can read - what is the best way to get started?

Is there anything else you would recommend I try that would help me break into the business?

Read everything you can before you start.

I'd suggest starting with free-sites before galleries, but that's cause it's what I know, and seems to convert better.

Scour the newbies forum for everything free-site related and read it twice. Especially this post and all the posts it refers to: 15 threads every newbie should read

Then go over to the Linklist and Getting listed forum and read everything there and take note of the advice given by the people who will be listing your future sites. Go to those link sites and get an idea for the general rules of link-sitesrules.

Then browse some of those linklists and pay attention to all the listings with recips on them, as those are the sites that are following the rules and getting listed. Notice there general structure, but don't copy their design.

Then, try to build your first free-site and come back here and ask for feedback. If you do all the above, chances are you won't need much feedback, and you'll be getting listed and getting traffic soon.

Thanks preacher. I will read all that you suggested. Real quick - how is a free-site different that a gallery? Just multiple pages?

Essentially yes. It's two galleries, linked to by a main page that is linked to by an index page. So four pages total. Gives you more pages to advertise on and a more targeted audience.
