Early Saturday morning and not a lot to do. I have a new fender and tires for my bike. My wife gave me a $500 gift certificate from Harley Davidson so I bought the fender and tires. Now I have to put them on. My wife's bike is gone getting it's frame powder coated and the sheet metal painted. So, I have plenty of room to work. So, today will be a good day for that.

I will be here until noon.

Up way to damn early for a Saturday. A front must have come through overnight. A bit windy and little cool this morning, humidity way down. Quite refreshing actually.

Need to go out into the real world for a bit this morning. I need a new desk fan, some kind of lazy susan for the canned goods shelf in the pantry, and maybe a couple of pairs of casual pants if I can find the kind I like.

Another beautiful warm day here.


After finding out what is practical to do with the tattoo guy I refined my tattoo design and am getting it on the back of my neck this afternoon. I have a feeling it is going to be a bit painful but is there really any difference between pain and pleasure?

Cable modem keeps on going down for like five or ten minutes at a time so waiting to order Vonage until it is stable. They are suppose to come out again tomorrow to see why it is still not working properly.

Other then getting neck art not a lot going on today for me. If the weather stays nice I may go down to the beach or just go hang out at the neighbor's pool afterwards.

just starting my first cuppa. I'm at the swap this weekend. Needed a break from fake tits and makeup. never thought saggy asses would look so good.

Cleo.. that looks grand. are you doing those same colors as in the pic or just the outline? I've heard that the neck and ankle are the most painful places to have one. and I'm on the waitlist for Hart & Huntington and "inked" for This one tho i have NO clue where on my phat ass to put it. and YES i stole it from Angels and Demons. Hopefully you'll have a pain free day.

Morning! Very cool tats Cleo and Doc! I have three of them and I have to tell ya the back part of my arm was the most painful so far. The one on my ankle didn't hurt that bad, and the one on my boob didn't hurt. But that was because of all the fat there.... Good luck Cleo!

Well, at least the sun is back out here in lovely Montreal, so things are looking up.

Yesteday was the first day for the garbage collection in the neighborhood. After seeing about 100 emails back and forth from a small group of malcontents on my street (we have an neighborhood association thing going on) the garbage collection went quickly and without any issues. Actually, one issue, these people had to roll the container out of their garage, up the hill, and put it in front of their houses. Big deal. Anyway, all the doom and gloom the projected failed, I love the thing (container is big enough for about 4 green bags full) and for the first garbage day here since I can remember, there is nothing flying around in the wind. In my mind, that is success!

Anyway, besides celebrating a good garbage day, I am working in the back ground on a project doing some coding and some design work. Hopefully I will be able to at least expose a little bit of it today or tomorrow, and make it all turn out good.

Tim Hortons, here I come.

I'm enjoying what looks to be another nice day down here.
Already 81 degrees and on the way to at least 87 later on.

I don't look forward to hurricane season starting soon, especially
with all the strong storms and tornados hitting places lately. I'd bet
we're in for a serious season this year (again).

So it's been a good day to enjoy a little sun and sand, and recharge
for more workin' on the porn. Which I'm going be doing most of the
weekend. New projects are such fun.

P.S. Cleo - I believe it often depends very much on who's causing
the pain or pleasure. Either one can be made to feel a lot like the other,
if someone knows how to tweak things based on the "subject's" responses.
Sometimes it can be fun to make someone cry with a feather.

Yeah i'm thinking of doing mine in colors as well.. like green for earth, red for fire, white for air and blue for water. i have one over my heart i got at 42 so i'm thinking of the right side so that way no matter which way someone is looking at it they can still see the anagram.

Thanks for what I'm sure was a kind offer... ...but I've just never
enjoyed that side of the equation. Seems to always balance better for
me if I solve things from the other direction.

I got my tattoo.

I'll post some pics once I get home. I gave my camera to his helper and had him shoot pics of me actually getting it done.

Took a little over a hour. The outline was pretty painful but the rest wasn't and it actually kind of felt good.

From the outside looking in watching this body enjoy its own pain…

Cleo, getting a tat is a wonderful feeling... the pain is only a gentle reminder of the more permanent statement and expression you are making. I haven't gotten one for many years, but it is on the list of things to do as a reward when some other goals are accomplished, almost certainly before the summer is over.

I am in awe of the japanese Yakuza style suits, as they have much meaning and much pain that it takes to get there. (The image here is interesting, you will see that the sleeves stop at a certain point and the "center" of the chest and stomach are blank - this allows them to wear normal shirts and not to expose their, ummm, affiliations and markings.



Very intense indeed.

Here are some pics. I noticed that the tattoo really distorts with just the slightest movement of my neck so unless I'm standing looking absolutely forward standing very straight the tattoo is distorted a bit.
