Question Snake's World & Shemp

Hi guys (and girls),

Is it possible to get a partner account with Shemp and Snake's World, or do they only have the regular submit form? From what I can see, it is relatively difficult go get listed.

Shemp has a ton of partner accounts now from what I understand and to get one you might have had to be listed there a few times already.

SnakesWorld? You're guess is as good as mine. I use to get listed there all the time but never get a reply when I email him now about partner status.

Shemp is the king....and the traffic is golden.
Just keep in mind that sites like that get asked a million times a week for partner accounts.

I personally have not been able to get a hold of anyone at Snakes world for years. I use to talk to him when he just made his site. Exchance traffic and what not. Then all of a sudden, the ICQ's and emails stopped. That was years ago.
I have emailed half a dozen times over the last year and have yet to get a response. Oh well.

I had someone e-mail me the other day asking me for a partner account. The whole e-mail was in Russian expect for the words "want partner account".

Shemp's TGP is one of my favorite TGPs.

Shemp, I did that on the 27th of October - but still haven't received any reply...

Quote:
the email body:
Hi, Shemp!

George here from http://TropicHeat.com - I'm really not sure
if you remember me: back in 1999 I had a traffic exchange
with your site for a while until your site outgrew mine.

I'm back into HAND-submitting galleries for a while now
and would like to get a password with your site - here are
a few samples:

http://teensytits.com/1025pgo/
http://teensytits.com/1019to/
http://teensytits.com/1010dil/
http://teensytits.com/1008sb/
http://teensytits.com/0926to/
http://teensytits.com/0906xtr/

As with references: MickBake, Blade from HardcoreJunky.com,
Thomas from DoubleDrilled.com/xRatedList.com (I'm a SILVER
submitter at DoubleDrilled!), Steve from HiOctane.com, etc.

I'm a password submitter at many other sites (although:
I don't submit to much more than 70 sites) -
Madthumbs, HanksGalleries, Jpeg4free, BunnyTeens, BangThumbs,
AdultBuffet, etc.

You can check recent listings at http://www.callpri.com/get_tgp.php
NOTE: I always submit without the www ( http://teensytits.com )
so http://www.teensytits.com won't yield much in results...

Thanks for your time - looking forward to a reply

George
So I'm still looking forward to a reply (yes or no will do...)

This is a bit like the chicken and the egg... what happens if you're new to gallery submitting so you've never had the opportunity to be listed before?

we are pretty loyal to the gallery submitters that have been with us for years, some since 1998. Should i drop one of them for a a "newbie" that i dont know? I get just about 4000 galleries a day submitted and i have room for 250, so that makes it really tough on the "new guy"

I can certainly see your point - obviously I wouldn't expect you to drop someone you know and trust for someone who for all you know could submit and then (in an extreme case) use every trick in the book to cheat.

To be honest, looks to me like it's impossible for the 'new guy' as far as your site is concerned. Which is fine, it's your site and let's face it you can list who you want.

It's a pity that there isn't a way you can accept submissions from your loyal and trusted submitters, and at the same time slip in some new submitters in from time to time - or maybe you already do.

Naturally I realize it's supply and demand - and there is quite clearly far more demand for listings on Shemp than there is supply - but the same is probably equally true of some other large TGPs I can think of and they seem to find a way to include new submitters. Maybe they don't have as many existing loyal submitters as you do, I don't know.

One thing's for sure - doesn't look like I'm ever going to get a gallery listed with you!

Well, just being listed isnt good enough, the chances of making a few bucks when you're near the bottom of a list of 250 galleries is slim.

we do get the occasional opening, as people leave the business, or get into other areas of the business. timing is everything in life and in business, and right now, for a new person in TGP, your timing is bad.

If I was a new guy, I'd concentrate more on free sites than TGP. There are many many TGPs that will still list you but many you have no chance at getting listed on.

Build free sites as everyone lists those and out of the galleries on that free site make a gallery to be submitted to TGPs that will actually list you. Before you know it you won't be a newbie anymore and will get partner accounts eventually at various places if things are still the same in the future.

Ha! Ain't that the fuckin' truth!

Gallery posting is almost as bad as having a straight job now. YES SIR! YES SIR! THANK YOU FOR ALLOWING ME TO POST, SIR! Oh no, I don't mind that my galleries are just used as botom filler, Sir, I'm honored that they are posted at all.

This time next year I expect it will be worse than having a straight job.

I hope to give up posting in 2004. It's an addictive and ever more disgusting habit.

I know Shemp. I already make more with my galleries using them as content in my own network of sites. That's part of the reason why I can say I look forward to the time when I can stop submitting.

You've said many times, "put your own galleries at the top", and I've definitely adopted that principle, and it's implications. Just as I've listened closely to your advice about the best time to start a TGP.

There are thousands of ways to make money in this business. But being a gallery poster is rapidly collapsing as a desireable way to do business. I figure you know this as well as I do.

As porn labor is outsourced to the thirldworld, someone like you will have a pool of gallery posters for some long time to come. What that means for someone like me is that I have to be ready to say, "Okay, time to close that area of my business down, the returns are too low.".

You do recognize that it sucks more and more to be a gallery submitter, right? That's all I'm saying. I love this biz, I'm doing quite well at it, but I'm hatin' being a gallery submitter these days.

Tommy, no doubt, the cheaters are a big problem, in about 20 months they've turned a friendly business into a battleground full of suspicion and threats. But I'm thinking we may have turned the corner, the existing cheaters are still active, but fewer new ones seem to be starting up (at least I am seeing fewer reports of new cheater rings). We could see a lot less cheating of the current types in 2004.

But it means a change in business structures.

And the bottom line is that there are simply too many gallery posters. The same logic that drives programming jobs to india will force porn labor there too. Pakistani graphics laborers using estonian video on chinese servers can stock Tommy's with content far cheaper than american workers ever could.

I think I'm doing a public service by warning new people that gallery posting ain't what it used to be.

Shemp, I agree and a good reason to create our own traffic sources!

Bill I agree with a lot of what you say. The problem with many of the newbie's coming in from third world countries is the money they need to survive. US (and others) webmasters cannot live on $3K a month but they can. They can live on half that and that is the root of the problem. The reason for cheap labor and many other things.

The good thing is being in the biz for a while allows us the ability of knowing people who do list our galleries. Plus we do know there are other ways to make money other than just making galleries.

Tommy, you are a seriously funny guy. One of the best wicked senses of humor I've ever seen on a message board. I just chuckle and chuckle after one of your lines.

Just fuckin' hilarious. And if I'm wrong about that bein' a joke, it's still fuckin' hilarious! maybe even funnier...
