Multiple Recips on Warning Page
Hi everyone. I'm just getting started submitting my freesites, and have a few questions.
1. Why do many LLs want more than one recip on the warning page, including some that aren't even for their site? Does the referral traffic between the site I'm submitting to and the other site's recip code get tracked? 2. I've read in different LL rules that no hardcore content whatsoever is allowed on the warning page. How common is that restriction? For cases when it is not allowed, what counts as hardcore? For example, a pic of a girl with a lump of spunk on her lips? 3. After all the warnings I've read on this board about doing it right to avoid the BL, I'm a little bit paranoid about submitting my freesites. I wanna do it right. ![]() Thanks in advance for whatever help anyone can offer. Much appreciated. ![]() |

One more question
![]() If my e-mail address doesn't match the url where my freesites are hosted, is that grounds for my submission's rejection? Thanks again. |

Ok here we go.
1. Well LL's like it when they get a bit of return traffic from freesites. If you put up more recips on your warning page you get more traffic to that page which means there's a higher chance that the linklists get traffic back from your FS. We all need traffic you know ![]() 2. Some places have this rule, but lmost of them haven't. If they do have it I assume spunk on the lips is not allowed. Everything from penetration, to cunnulingus, to whatever sexual act won't be allowed. Only naked chicks that do nothing ![]() 3. 98% of the time you'll get your recip before you submit the site. Adulteverything is an exception I guess. And with no changes to the site most of us mean that you shouldn't put up different content, adding 5 more sponsorlinks, etc. Changing a recip from a site that has declined you or something like that won't do you much harm. In the linkback field you put the URL where you've put the recip. This is so the script can check if you put the recip up or not. Usually this is the same URL as your index page. 4. Always use the same email address. It doesn't matter if it matches the site's URL or not. There ya go ![]() |

I guess one of my sites is in question. If you look just above the submit form, there is a link where you can get the recip code before you submit. There are over 400 catagories to submit to on that site, so it's not really practical to make a page with pre-made recips. I personally would rather see submitters grab the code that comes up after submitting as thats one of the biggest problems I see, submitters using the wrong recip.
Hope that clears it up. Fonz anwsered the rest for ya.. ![]() ronnie Last edited by ronnie; 2006-08-07 at 08:39 PM.. |
