Working out the keyword density on a page

I have a question about keyword density that I'm hoping to get some opinions on. When checking the keyword density of a phrase I'm trying to target for SE's, should I include meta, alt and title in working out the percentage? I always include all three but maybe I shouldn't be |confused|

Anybody have any opinions?

Thanks.

Have a look at your page with one of the many keyword density tools:
http://www.google.com/search?sourcei...d+density+tool

Most of them count titles and metas.

Whether you should or shouldn't use keywords there... I have no idea to be honest.
