New And Clueless!!

Hi guys,

This is my first time ever building a site, and Ive noticed that alot of you guys are talking about buying and trading traffic.....exactly how does that work? my taffic is waay below what I expected and I need all the help I can get. On the up side, I did make a few sales (other than me and the few people I told) so if somebody can give me a lil insight on what I need to do so I can atleast get one check before the year is out. learn how to build and submit free sites. link them back to this site. you aren't going to get much traffic to that site for a while until you get some quality backlinks.

also, instead of hotlinking those pictures from the sponsors, host them yourself and crop them into that square size. they look really distorted.

Since You are totally new You probably don't know what is meant when we talk about "free sites" (I know I didn't have a clue when I started out) so here is an example: http://www.porn-safe.com/free-sites/...abe/nude-teen/. Now that is just an example of pretty much the simplest free site You can build, it is a warning page, a main page and 2 gallery pages. The great thing about free sites is that You submit them to link lists which generate a bunch of traffic for you.

On the free site You can have 3 outgoing links on each page (not counting reciprocal links or 2257 links). These 3 links You can use to promote Your sponsors and You can even use some of them to promote Your own hub, which in Your case is http://www.dascroll.com.

A good idea when starting out on building free sites is to look around at what other people do and get some ideas from them. Do not just steal their designs or sales pitches, just get ideas from them.

Wouldn't hurt to have more compelling ads, what you have now is probably not pulling much for clicks.

Buying and trading traffic is usually done with tgp's because they have trade scripts and they can utilize the traffic to build it up. Though other sites "trade" traffic with link trades. Doesn't hurt to buy traffic but could be a waste if you don't have a way to use it to bring in more traffic or make a positive ROI with sales.

I'd go with the advice above and really do agree with the thumbnail resizing as yours are disproportioned and makes the image look distorted. Also as Ronnie said, workm on your sales pitch. Look around see what other words can be used to get the surfer to click on your sponsors..and by the look of it you use Pimp Roll..dont limit yourself to just one sponsor, mix them up. And being new, my biggest advice is to read, read, read, and read what you can in regard to adult webmastering, getting traffic and building sites.

I agree with the thumbnail sizes. It appears all you are doing is hotlinking to the sites full sized images and making the image a particular size, which distorts them. I'm not sure if that is acceptable to that affiliate programs rules or not.
