![]() Hi all,
I'm pretty new to this so bear with me. ![]() I have created a fetish TGP. The address is http://www.fetish-babes.co.uk. The site has been up and running for 6 months plus. I am signed up to multiple affiliate schemes: CCBill, Verotel, Rage Cash... etc I am getting clicks registering for every scheme apart from CCBill. Over the 6 months i have had 5 clicks overall, all for the same banner. With Verotel i am getting around 10 a day. There is far more CCBill material on the site than the others. I came to the conclusion that there is either a problem with my links, CCBill links dont generate any traffic or... a problem with the CCBill system. I contacted CCBill and reported the problem. They wrote back saying that my link codes were fine and the issue was with their code. I heard nothing else from them. I wrote back a few weeks later and was told they would look into the issue. Did'nt hear anything from them. So i reported another problem through the interface. I got a message saying that... "Dear Affiliate, This is a known bug that is being looked into by our programming team. Thank you for the report. Regards, Jason G. Client Support Specialist" This was 11 days ago... once again i have heard nothing in the meantime from them. I thought it might be the account so i created another. Altered the link codes.... checked the stats after a week... still nothing registering. I dont expect massive amounts of sales but i expect at least a few clicks per day... I thought it might be a widespread problem... but i cant see any other reports of such issues. I have checked Google looking for any reports but with no success. Am i doing something wrong? If not, why is there a problem with every CCBill account i open? Is there a problem with all new CCBill accounts registered? Can somebody help me? ![]() ![]() |

One quick thing to note is that the account number you get from a new site if you associate it with a master account must be used in your links -- even though ccbill at many many requests has been asked to hand that affiliated code back to the sponsor program, ccbill insists on handing the sponsor program the master affiliate code which is useless to that sponsor.
So, if there is a sponsor program wrapped around the ccbill join page, go into ccbill and make sure you are using the correct linking code from within ccbill for that sponsor, then, make sure that any time you access that sponsor, you use that subaccount code for that affiliate program.

When you sign up for a scheme you get an email with all the information on. There are 3 main codes you get: an affiliate ID (the schemes?), a webmaster account and a partner refferal number. Do you mean use one of these codes in the link? The affiliate ID given? As opposed to my own affiliate ID (which was the one i was using)? Once again i apologise for my ignorance.. :-D |

If you sign up direct with a program and don't associate it with an existing account (more on this in a minute), you are given an affiliate ID to use with that sponsor. That 'master' affiliate ID is used for promotions with that sponsor.
If you sign up with a program, and associate it with an existing account (to combine them to get 1 check at the end of the month), ccbill assigns you a new affiliate id for that new sponsor, but, when they pass the information back to that sponsor, they pass your master affiliate code. That sponsor (if they read what ccbill passed) will incorrectly generate linking codes for you based on the fact that ccbill handed them the wrong information. So, if you signed up, and merged your existing account with another, and that sponsor has one of the existing ccbill 'wrapper' sponsor programs, it will very likely generate the wrong linking codes because ccbill sends them the wrong code. Its just something to check -- I don't know if that is what happened, but, if you say clicks aren't tracking, it would be a good place to start looking.

My CCBill master account number is 539409 but I use each site's account number in their link codes.
Example Code:
http://refer.ccbill.com/cgi-bin/clicks.cgi?CA=913226-0003&PA=656559 This number "656559" is my affiliate number for that site. When you login to your CCBill admin you need to go under tools to see what the correct link code is for each site. |

I have just tried altering the ID number in some of my links and uploaded the altered page. I've clicked on the links and they are showing in CCBill.....
It all seems to be working. Thanks Guys ![]() I really appreciate your time. |
