First Site - Please let me know what you think

I'm new to this business and would like to get some feedback on a free site I just launched ShagWiki.com. I've signed up for a number of top affiliate programs and have been working to try and get some links. I'm not sure what else to do to get traffic. Any help would be great.

Sometimes it takes a while.. I am not a total newbie, but, I can make a few comments here.. First, AFF. While it is great for the surfers, it is nasty on the webmasters. Some sites will not link to you with it. Have I ever made money with them? Yes, years back.

Watch your scroll bars. Nobody likes having to scroll across the bottom. If you are not being paid for the link, don't do it on an interior page (The recips on the photo page, for example.) Your Webcam page auto-refreshed on me to AFF. Not a good deal!

Your main image bears almost too much of a resemblance to Paris Hilton. This may bring you grief. Are you licensed to use this image in this way? I also don't see a 2257 statement anywhere.

As I have learned here (Thanks, Cleo!) and will repeat, always use title tags and alt text wherever you can. This is great food for the surfer who hovers over an image as well as search engines.

That all said, and I know you will hear more.. it does have the potential to be a nice clean design and a good portal. You don't mention what affiliate programs you have tried - there are quite a few that have content for you to use for feeder sites that you can submit to the various LLs.

I have to agree with Pagan the scroll bars across the bottom are a pain in the ass! The site is very simple which could work in your favor! Blogs arent the greastest! But a great start and great content..just need some traffic!

Hey ShagWiki,your site is kinda cool in a weird way! I think if anything ,things just need to be tuned up a bit.You did a real good job.You know what drives me nuts though?When I'm surfing your site and the page suddenly morphs into a full page ad for porntube.com.For a lot of surfers,thats close the window and leave the site time.

By the way,I like the Melissa Midwest thing on your main page but she looks like she just got ass fucked by Gold Finger!

(yes,from Bond).It's just my opinion but I think if you cropped out and shrunk down a full body pic of her in real color (the top of her head reaching the (beta) and her feet reaching the 'privicy policy') and had her sort of leaning on your search bar it would be 100 times hotter plus it would reduce the horizontal scroll.It's nice looking now,just a thought I had.
