Hey all, just a quick hello to say if you dont see me on the board for a few days its because Im down at the Jersey Shore (Wildwood) and I dont honestly know if the place Im staying had wireless or Internet access available.
If they dont, I'll "see" you all on Thursday if they do I'll "see" you for the morning threads.

Wildwood, NJ -- now that brings back memories. I believe the last time I was there was in '79 or '80. I don't recall any wifi hotspots being there.
Quick search turns up McDonalds and Panera Bread both being reasonably close to the actual beach. Enjoy your time away from the grind.

You can try the Starbucks.
For some reason. AT&T added me to the Starbucks network across the street. When I registered my modem. It went right to the Coffee Shop. Hope I dont get in trouble. I'm sending you guys porn from the coffeshop. But really its from my apartment. See you soon NYJester

Brings back memories here too.
Growing up in Philadelphia as a kid, we made the annual pilgrimage "down the shore" to Wildwood every summer. Wound up seeing kids down there you only saw during the summer since they were from different places but all the families showed up there each summer. We had relatives we'd visit in Cape May and Stone Harbor, but we'd wind up going all over during those weeks we'd be down there. Ocean City, Margate, Ventnor, Brigantine, and sometimes we'd do Atlantic City (way, way before the casinos came to town). But we always stayed in Wildwood for some reason. Definitely no wifi back then either.
