Splogs and Blogs

I'm confused (its not hard)

When people talk about making blog posts a minimum of 250 words (probably more) - does this include splogs?

Or is a splog simply a case of scraping a gallery and making it into a post and not caring too much about post quality

And - do you submit splogs to blog directories/link lists or just your blogs

one version of splogs is to just make sites and have them populated by sponsors RSS feeds.

You can then just really focus on getting a design, setting maybe some categories, then providing the feeds to feed the blog and how often it updates from the RSS feeds.

Thanks bDok - after I posted, I found the search

(wrong way round I know) and have spent the last few hours reading up on splogs & blogs & feeds & things- some of the information is priceless and my splog-blogs are going to be great
