Know of any free & simple tgp script?

I just want a simple script where I can in bulk load galleries and they will rotate, I tried comus but that was way too complicated with bunch of errors all the time, tried to make it work for days but now I gave up.

If you are willing to be skimmed 2% in compensation, you can use the free version of Vanilla TGP. But if you have $89.95 to spare, let me suggest you to purchase TGPX. It's a paid script but it's even simpler than Vanilla TGP in my honest opinion. You can see it in action on my site Exquisite Angelz.

Yeah I like the way your site looks,that exactly what I'm looking for, but now I gotta figure out how to unistall comus first, deleting it through ftp doesn't work, following their unistall instructions gives me errors as well.

I did, and they erased it, now I'm trying the vanilla tgp, but having trouble with that too, can't even start installing, keep getting errors and they keep telling me to change this and that with my hosting company, but each response takes like a day, so It takes a day to find out what I need to change with hosting from vanilla, then it takes a day to get a response from my hosting company etc etc etc... freaking pain!

Where are you hosted at? Are you sure your hosting meets the script's requirements? Are on shared or dedicated? If you want, I can install it for you if you are willing to pay a small fee through PayPal. I have installed both TGPX and Vanilla TGP so I know how to do it.

I'm using the bussiness plan from here, https://www.dwhs.net/web-hosting-plans.htm , and that was the problem that it wasn't meeting the requirements, so now I'm trying to get them to change things around, they already raised my apache memory because that was insuficient. But there are still some other things that are giving me error in installation. Where are you hosted at? Once installed, was it hard to get it to look like your site does? Because the way your site looksis exactly what I had in mind.

Okay, if I am you, I would consider to seriously change webhosting company. If you want to use a shared hosting before going dedicated, I would suggest you to sign up for Naked Hosting immediately. Buy yourself a one or two year plan, you will save some money. I'm hosted with them and I know the scripts will work without issues. Afterwards, since you are rather lacking of knowledge about how everything works, I would suggest you to buy TGPX from JMB Software instead of using Vanilla TGP because it is more simple and user friendly. Vanilla is more complicated to use. It is also simpler to install compared to Vanilla, at least, for a beginner that is otherwise it doesn't really make a difference for a more experienced webmaster.

Thanx, I'm most likely changing the hosting company, I got something running right now, and it's good for now, it's basically hosted tgp which rotates daily, but there is only about 500 galleries in it. I wish someone else would come up with that, where I just had to choose what category I want and how often they need to rotate, how many rows and columns, size of thumbs, and boom, they gave me a simple Iframe link which I put on my index page and it's there. But I will need real tgp soon, so the one you're recomending, I can just dump bunch of hosted galleries into it and it will rotate them? That's really all I need from tgp. And for the naked hosting is the basic plan suficient?

Yes, if you use TGPX, you can just dump a bunch of hosted galleries into it and it will rotate them. If you don't crop your thumbs manually, TGPX can automatically do it for you.

For Naked Hosting, if you meant the Insane webhosting package, then yes, it is sufficient enough at the beginning. And when your site grows up and uses more resources, you can easily upgrade your hosting to another plan or even go with a dedicated server. They will set it up for you. The support is really quick and efficient at Naked Hosting.

Hey, I signed up for naked hosting, tried to run the vanilla tgp script, but still get errors, it installed the files after running the install, but then it says click here to continue and I get internat server error. Any idea what that could be?

Called the hosting and they said that the script was changing permission to values they don't allow (777) so they changed the permission and now it's working. So I'm now working on getting it to work for me, looks a lot simplier than comus though.
