Free Trial Sponsor vs. paid trial - looking at GG's Stats

Hi All,

In my mind free trials should be easier to sell, but the ratio is quite bad for let's say CECash' free trial sites compared to Fetishhits with their paid trials when you look at GG's stats.

But that does not neccesarily mean that you make less promoting free trial memberships because more people could click through to the free trial sites, just because they see the word(s) "free porn"!

So how do the rest of you see this? do you make more money promoting free memberships than paid trial memberships?

In the old days I sold ARS's Free trials and they converted better and made me more money than any other sponsor! May be times have changed!

You can't really compare my all time Fetish Hits stats to anyone because they just recently switched from 2nd page to 1st page hits.

That being said, gimme 15 min & let me total up the numbers for all my free, $1, cheap & no trials - might be interesting to see the numbers.

Hi GG,

Yeah numbers are always interesting...especially when it can influence your income!

It's always a real pleasure to see your stats even though sponsors can convert very differently from person to person, it helps a lot when starting up again. I would not start out with a sponsor you convert at 1:3-4000 :o)

These numbers cover BOTH Revshare & PPS all time for me:

Free Trial - 1:1594 $0.02/click $27.97/signup
$1 Trial - 1:1106 $0.02/click $26.72/signup
Cheap Trial - 1:779 $0.04/click $29.11/signup
No Trial - 1:807 $0.04/click $31.38/signup

Looking at the numbers, they do make sense. The Free Trial ratio is highest because I assume people still think a "free" trial means you don't need a CC.

I think you're right - its a bit of a "mind fuck" to tell someone its totally free then also ask them for a credit card. I honestly think $1 and cheaper trials or sign-ups are better converting for that very reason.

Well they worked in the old days :o) and a CC was needed as well.

You're right - You would have to be a bit stupid to believe it's totally free when you have to enter your credit card info!

I've build a couple of free sites for CECash and will build a few more to see what happens. :o)
