google pagerank ?
can anyone explain to me how a site of mine(freepornme.net), which has only gained inbound links, has dropped from a pr2, to a pr1, to now, a pr0?
Any info would be appreciated. thanks! |

Without knowing anything about your business, the most obvious answer is usually backward links have disappeared or google has reduced their weight.
Has your traffic gone down? If not, don't waste your energy worrying about PR.

Keep in mind what you see on the toolbar is not 100% accurate. Your pr2 could actually have been a pr1.9. Same goes with the pr0, it could be a pr0.9.
Other factors could be your inbound links losing pr which makes the link to you count less. More pages being added to the web can take away from pr also. There are many factors that go into the pr formula. Check out webworkshop.net for more in depth articles on pr. |
