A good early Saturday morning

Well actually it's 10:23 already here in Hellgium but who cares.

The sun is shining and it's going to be 15°C/59°F later today so that's looking ok. I already went to the grocery store and the baker's shop to get my pregnant girlfriend, who has less than 2 weeks to go as of today, something to eat. I'm still looking for something to do this afternoon otherwise it's going to be a boring afternoon.
There's also dinner with some friends this evening but that's only in 9 hours or so.

Food sounds good right about now.

It's cold here this morning or as the Spanish folks would say tengo mucho frío which to my English ears sounds like I have a bad cold which I don't as I'm just cold.

Not a lot planned for today other than working and running a few errands since tomorrow I'm planning on spending most of the day with my ass in a little plastic boat.

Sunshine, 60 degrees...maybe spring is here, but who knows. It will probably change again next week.

Actually slept to 6:30 this morning instead of being up by 5, mostly due to the nice cool night with just the right breeze blowing through the windows. Just enough to make you pull the blanket up and go back to sleep. (I wish our weather stayed like this, but summer's coming.)

(at least it still is here)

Got my completed tax returns from the accountant and got them mailed today, so I'm happy that is done with.

Work and more weed pulling on the agenda. Nothing like a wet winter in the desert to make the weeds go crazy.

By tomorrow we should have all of them pulled in the backyard, then we can go start on the front.

Good afternoon. Did a huge walk around one of the trails I've never done at Balboa park today. Now going to pack up and head up to HB to visit with some friends. Looking forward to just enjoying the happy hour of this place we are going to. It's cheap and it looks awesome.
