It feels so good to be back sleeping in my own bed with little furry creatures in the bed. A bit sunburned with more than a few jellyfish strings I'm back home feeling rather overwhelmed by a backlog of work.

Doesn't help that I need to get all the hurricane stuff together in case Irene makes an unwelcome visit this weekend.

Well, actually two furry creatures if you count me.

I hope that Irene chick stays east of both of us, Cleo. Looks like she's going to be in the Cat 3 to Cat 4 range when she passes here, and I really do hope she passes by without turning our way. I saw first-hand what Andrew did 19 years ago when it came through South Florida on August 24th of 1992 and I never want to see that again.

Regarding the Jellyfish stings, I don't know if I'm late breaking the news, but current thinking is that urine doesn't ease jellyfish stings after all. So that kind of eliminates one answer to the old "why are you peeing on me?" question.

Jellyfish stings suck, but they aren't as bad as sting rays! Those are horrible.

No hurricanes heading for her, just high heat. 108 projected for today, 107 tomorrow.

Just getting my first free site submitted, and glad I work indoors today.

After looking up a condition that I noticed drinking beet juice called Beeturia, I ordered some vegan iron supplements. Hoping that might be why I still feel so darn tired and weak. Never really thought about the fact that vegetarians had harder issues getting all their iron than you carnivores. Can't really afford to go to a doctor to check me for something so simple as here, take a supplement, now pay me $100 for a visit and $100 for the blood work.

No hurricanes here either. Enjoying the few days off from the offline job. I went to the local fun fair Yesterday and ended up with a hangover this morning. So I spent some time on the couch and watched "Sucker Punch". What a weird movie that was...

Good afternoon all. Hope the hurricane misses all in the areas it is heading towards. Sounds like Virginia got a little shake down today with the earthquake there. Out here in Washington it is just hot but alot better then winds and storms. Have a great evening
