using images w/ domain URL's on them...

Generally, do most LL's accept or not accept free sites that have images with the URL to the sponsor on them?

I got a decline because of this but figured that the sponsor would have a problem if I cropped the image so that the URL was no longer there.

Pretty much it's all about presentation. If they are huge or cover the good part of the pic then you have problems. If they are smallish and to the edge you don't.

I know I got a batch of pics from Neriah that weren't marked and I put her name on them and they were all accepted everywhere I submitted.

I just had a site rejected for this the other day. The site url was very small in the bottom right corner of the photos. I guess it's just up to the link list reviewer. I simply took their recip down and added in someone else.

A lot of sponsors pics have been so overused that most LLs have to really justify putting the same pics up over and over.
But then with content so cheap these days, there are a few LLs that are getting to the point (actually a lot of them) that are already in the decision making process of just eliminating sponsor content sites - unless it's something like a personal site where that's the only content that can be used and hasn't been overdone.
On the other hand - if you buy the content - the providor usually gives you the right to add your own URL to them - which is not a problem at all

It depends, but for the most part, I decline them.
Sick of reviewing them, sick of the template sites, etc....

I also promote most of the sponsors, build my own sites, and list those. I don't need duplicate content.

Best bet to get this content listed is to find an unusual niche. Like "panties" I have a category on Marks for this, but not too many submits to it ever. So for the sake of filling up the category, you'll more than likely get listed. Provided of course the site follows every basic free site rule.

Years ago, I could tell when Adult Legal put out a New $99 Special. I saw that content for months. Now they have content like this and some even cheaper. 500+ pics for a hundred bucks, I still say go buy some content.
Even at $25 a sign up, that's only 4 sales to pay for the content.
How many sales have you Missed because of using Free Content?

I don't mind a little text with the domain name on it, it's the morons that put other images on the free content that pisses me off to no end.

Some linksites have that rule about the content at their rules list, like" no sponsor content", its wise to check the rules ones in a while, i review an LL which has the rule no sponsor content, now i cant see all the time if its sponsor content but with an url from sponsor on it its easy, now i decline about 2/3 of the submitted links for that reason. Sponsors give so much free content these days that it's hard to believe you can't get listed with free sponsor content. No one can remember all those pics.

And, if you're promoting reality porn sites, what can you do? No one sell those pics, you must use sponsor content. That's why I haven't done them lot, as I thought I won't get listed. But at these times, reality sells. It seems you just must be quick and be on the frontline to use new reality content your sponsor gives you.

One thing I hate when buying content. Content suppliers send me a letter with all paperwork. Then I must send them a letter after signing those papers. I wish they could have some kind of online system for that. We are very high tech here and going to post office is PITA - in our area is no post offices. I can't just give the letter to a postman, as it's foreign post and they must weight it before they know how much the posting will be paid.
