Morning!

Her leg/knee is still fucked, but the doc said she can drive

Her knee had problems before this & the fracture was on the top of her fibula where it meets her knee, so that just makes everything worse. She's got an appt to see a specialist.

Work work work, usually my plans for Tuesdays all day into the night

Dilemmas Dilemmas

My daughter has a new apartment for her last year of school in Los Angeles and the move in date is June 28th so I am going to Vegas Monday the 24th for 3 days then going to LA the 27th to get her stuff moved into her new apartment. Her old apartment is paid until late July so since it's there, empty, I figured I'd stay a couple of weeks, why not right. (my daughter is not in LA, she's home in Canada for the summer as is her roommate) Well over the weekend there was some discussions on moving the move in date back with her roommate and the apartment complex and sure enough, the the new move in date is now July 20th. Good news I will save 3 weeks rent which is over $1200, WooHoo

Bad news is I have flights taking me to LA next week and a return flight coming home July 11th

So now the dilemma, do I change all my flights which will cost me about $500-600 or do I just go and change my return flight, cost of only $200, and stay in LA an extra 10 days to do the move?

1 . My gut says, Hell Yeah, enjoy LA for 3 weeks.
2. My work load says, are you fucking nuts? It's going to be hard working on only your laptop

I think I'm leaning towards 2. I have a new laptop and really, a laptop is just a PC but being old school (and old lol) it's feels better to be on a PC

Ramster, I have only worked on laptops the last 12 years

Speaking of laptops, my build/upload computer is starting to die which is sad because it is as old as the statement above. I had it stripped of every unnecessary stuff which is probably why it lasted so long. Now the problem is my old versions of photoshop/dreamweaver do not work on newer machines and these newer versions are far more than I need/want and are a bit confusing to me.

Sure I can spend the time and learn but I'm at a point where I'm thinking it's time to call it quits, sort of. More than likely I won't but I really need to getting back to making proper money and I no longer see that possibility doing what I do with this biz. I still enjoy doing it so that is why I would continue but probably with far less time put in, I think. Dilemmas Dilemmas as Ramster would say.

Anyhoo, gotta try and back up as much stuff as I can before it's death. Mostly stuff that is not on a server I can download from.

Italy plays today and then later we are going out with neighbors (the car guys) to celebrate a birthday.
