I'm so confused...

Today, I was playing around with the search engines and I found something weird. I was checking on my search term "Boogie Blog" which is gaining a fair amount of popularity, and was suprised to find that this phrase is used 609 times.

First off, I was stoked. When I first created the site, I searched google and it was around less than 30 times, referring instead to boogieblog.com which is not my website.

I've worked hard with link exchanges and such to get this site up to a serious level of PR and a decent web presence in the blogsphere so to speak, so to find it mentioned that many times? amazing!

well, I get to about the third or fourth page and what do I see? People listing "boogie blog" on their spam pages...

What is more interesting is that I have been including many MILF HUNTER galleries, so a lot of the pages that have used my phrase (or even link to my website!) have high relevency in this term.

Were these pages autocreated somehow? were they just searching through milfhunter results and trying to steal valuable keyphrases and words?

is this good or bad for my site? I guess it cant really be bad unless these guys get mass penalized, but, maybe somoene knows something I dont.

Either way I'm pretty stunned that such a thing can happen "Boogie blog" which has nothing to do with MILFHUNTER other than I list their free galleries on my site, resulting in being on hundreds of spam based google pages is unreal...

All I could really offer is guesses.. but I would like to know the know the answer to what those people are up to when you work it out.

Sounds like that blog is coming along very nicely too! Who do you need to know to get the owner to post about one of my sites? ;-)

Boogie - yep there are lots of WMs that generate those pages from scripts of keywords they harvest from the SEs - they eventually get taken down after they get reported a few times

Glad you reminded me about the blogs - LOL - been neglecting mine

BTW - did you know that the newest fad on other boards if to register using an existing WMs nick - just happened to notice yours on another board - but figured out it wasnt you - then I noticed a few others were registered as well known WMs also at the same board

I think identity theft of someone who sells porn really is reaching an all time low in criminal activities that an evil mind could pursue. LOL

I knew about the whole "register as another webmaster" thing. its pretty pathetic. someone came by my ICQ to let me know they disagreed with a post I made on a board I DONT EVEN GOTO! HAHA!

Its pretty crazy, I dont get it, but hell if they want Serge and his guys screaming at him, let him have my login! More bad than good some would say!

Cheaters really make this business tough to deal with some time. I stopped chaising the google tail months ago. There is always someone out there who will be able to circumvent the system. The thing that scares me the most is the stealing of handles. I work hard at keeping my name in good standing. This is the only board I post on and use. I followed GG over from Netsurprise. Its sickening that someone might use my name on another board and try to take away from my credibility. I can see how some major LL owners get really pissed and weary.

I've been using this nick for more years that I care to think about. I don't worry about someone else trying to impersonate me as there are people that know me in almost every corner of this biz.


Plus I find it doubtful that anyone could duplicate my less aesthetically pleasing pendantries.
