Help!!!

Lately I'm having problems viewing certain links, banners, recip buttons and even pics. I have this problem in both IE and Netscape.
I suspect there's some kind of adblocker on my system, but after running Spybot and AdAware, I'm still having this problem...
This sucks big time, anyone know what's causing this or have a solution?
Thx :-)

Almost always...that's what it is. There are settings for it but I have never gotten it quite right. It also seems to change settings on it's own. Last week, my media player could not play anything. It kept saying it couldn't find the URL even when I tried playing video from my pc. I finally found the settings in Norton and it was changed to never play a video.

Jim, thanks buddy, switched of Norton, problem solved :-)

DUH!! Should have thought of that but that's why I posted this in the newbie forum lol

Is there any other good anti-virus prgram that doesn't fuck with your system like Norton? Having more problems with it than it does any good..

I still use Norton. Besides the obvious problems, it seems to work best. I think if you spend time learning about it, you can get it working right.

Are you just using Norton Anti-virus or are you using Norton internet security (NIS)? If you are using NIS, the firewall program has a built in ad blocker that you can turn on or off, or allow certain sites or ads to show. I'm not sure if the Anti-virus program does this or not.
