Downloading Fonts

You'd think I'd know this, but I don't!

Where do I save downloaded fonts in order to be able to use them when sending email and making my sites?

Any help will be appreciated.

You can't use non-standard fonts on your web site other than in graphics!
The peson viewing the site has to have the same fonts installed on their computer in order to see them!!
