Greenguy and Jim Fantasy Football 2005

The time is here, I will be once more running at least 3 leagues for Greenguy and Jim and both GG and Jim will be in all 3 leagues. (At least so they tell me since neither has joined officially)

It will once more be on ESPN’s fantasy site, and ESPN has made HUGE changes to their system since last year and made it so it is 100% customable. So I have started 3 leagues and made 2 of them similar to the “typical” ESPN ran FFL, most notable changes are”

- no “un-droppable players”
- 60 seconds between draft picks (this could go to 30 if more then 12 are in it)
- QB’s get 5 points for a TD pass instead of 4.

The 3rd league will be as different as I could make it, I made it as much as a high scoring league as I could where you can also lose more points if your player fumbles, throws a INT or what have you and if your D allows more then 40 point’s it will cost you -15. I still have not finalized any of the leagues rules and setup, but once I do I will be posting all the rules and scoring system.

Just a friendly warning, I will *NOT* be rescheduling any drafts this year, once the dates are posted, that’s the dates we WILL draft regardless what comes up. Currently all 3 leagues are open to 12 teams, only one team per owner per league. And if we get more then 12 I will expand the league size, but I would prefer to keep it no more then 14 teams, that way everyone can be sure to have a starter as a backup, but we will adjust accordingly.

If we do not fill up 2 hours before draft time, I will reduce the size of the league to whatever number we do have officially joined. So if only 10 of 12 officially joined 2 hours before draft time it will be a 10 team league and I will change divisions accordingly. You do not have to make the LIVE draft to be in it, ESPN has made the auto draft much better, so just be set your auto draft in case anything happens and you can not make the live draft.

So we have 22 of 36 spaces taken, once more you can be in all 3 (or even 5 since I will be looking for 2 other leagues and if more then 14 spots are needed I will expand the leagues as needed.

What I do not like about ESPN is they make it difficult to understand how to join, so what I need is an email address from everyone who is interested and I will send you an invite from ESPN that will have the link you need to join with, and you also need to tell me how many you want to be in.

PLEASE do not tell me 3 when all you plan on doing is 1, it’s a waste of my time and if your one of the few who did this to me last year I will not allow you into the leagues again and I may even boot you from this one. (Yes I kept notes from last year) Sorry to be a dick, but I got burned hard over this shit last year and I almost wanted to quit, so it will not happen again.
