Great, selling sites on ebay is out of the question for me...
"eBay has made a policy decision not to allow access to the Mature Audiences category outside the US. This restriction applies to browsing, bidding and selling."
Fuck them! Anyone got any other places where I can put some blogs for sale? |

I am in Canada and I am able to access the adult listings. I cannot find this policy you mentioned. If it does exist, it would be a stupid move on their part.

This is what I get when I try to log in the Mature Audiences section:
"Access Not Allowed eBay has made a policy decision not to allow access to the Mature Audiences category outside the US. This restriction applies to browsing, bidding and selling. This decision has been taken due to laws that restrict the sale of pornography over the Internet. Often, these laws are more restrictive than those in the US and vary substantially from country to country, while often being unclear. To avoid potential legal exposure for our members and out of respect for laws regulating such material, we have implemented this policy. We do know that in some countries access to at least some material of this nature may be lawful, however eBay is unable to block access to the Mature Audiences category on a country by country basis. Therefore, to avoid legal exposure for our members and out of respect for laws regulating such material, we have implemented this policy. In the event that the laws in this area become more clear and as we become better able to handle such materials on a country by country basis, eBay may ease this restriction." |

I do not see a Mature Audiences section or an adult section. But when I search for adult sites I get a ton of listings that I can browse or bid on. Strange.

Same here Fonz (UK), although I can look at a handful of adult related items but not a lot. I wonder if there's a way around this - although I doubt it. I've emailed them just in case but I'm not expecting more than a brief "standard" reply.

I usually just list them in the regular website & business for sale category, and actually get better results. You just can't show nudity or link to the url....but a quick look at a few of the other auctions shows how far you can bend the rules...
![]() From the regular category: "...97 items found for adult in internet business, websites.." majick
