I'M BACK
as if anyone knew I was gone
 Short story, hard drive crashed, then mother board melted. Took me a bit to get new parts and get them installed. Moved to linux now after getting fed up with Vista but have winxp in vmware for a couple apps wine won't run. One thing that really amazed is how well XP and apps run in vmware almost to the point of better than natively installed. Very happy with vmware! But its good to get back to business!

sorry to hear about the HD melt down. That always sucks. I do a drive dump once a week now to an external now because after the last time my drive melted a serious backup plan went into effect.

Thanks everybody!
Im very happy to be using linux. Once you've dove in, its not that bad and the freedom is awesome. I've been updating the OS so much since I havn't been able to do it since Win2k hehe.
