newbie ready for the truth...

Hello all,

We are in the process of going live with our new web site:

www.msdgirls.com

This is a multi-girl site with a diary theme. It will include videos and photo sets of each girl. The content will be 100% original and exclusive to our site. We are fortunate to have some "first timers" on film with some fresh and very natural looks.

We are awaiting Visa approval right now and debugging the CMS so the content is minimal at the present time. The header images have only stock photos and we are working to night to replace them with photos from our first couple photo shoots.

We started development on the affiliate site today and expect that to be live in conjunction with Visa approval.

Apologize if rambling isn't proper etiquette here - new to the whole webmaster boards. Simply looking to make introductions and solicit feedback from seasoned webmasters that may be willing to offer a word or two.

The diary is a cute angle, and may help sales.

I think your site design is a little too general - you need to develop the psychological hooks that will make the customer overcome their default wariness and pull out the card.

It reminds me a bit of my first attempt, a general girls paysite with local talent - which failed - 9 yeas ago.

It's going to be a challenge, dude. Be prepared to tough it out, and make experiments.

I'd try to niche it out more, and make entryways that focus on specific storylines or girls or body parts.

It might be worthwhile to resize the images properly. A little color correction/enhancement wouldn't hurt either.

Thanks for the feedback - definitely want to tighten up the diray angle and niche it out a bit more. And yer it is a first try so hoping not to make the same mistaked of others 9 years back. Hadn't thought about the color correction but I'll look into it. Great info!

I doubt Bill made a big mistaked, he's still in the business.
If you're new to the business, just getting started out now as opposed to nine years ago, and you're not learning from some who have been around a while, that is the biggest mistaked you could make.

Another thing you might want to watch out for is deceiving the surfer. Many do it but be less obvious. For example the header has Marcia just turned 18. That girl looks 35. And in fact she is close to it, her name is Tanya Danielle a well known pornstar.

Best thing to do is use all of your exclusive girls on the tour so surfers think it is all fresh girls, it will help your sales 10 fold.

The photos on the headers are placeholders only - and I should have swapped them out before making introductions. We will be using photos from the models we shot - speaking of I just received the update files from my designer.
No intent to deceive at all, we are offering 100% exclusive and original content. look forward to your thoughts once I re upload the new header graphics shortly...THANKS!
