![]() Today I tried to look at a .wmv that was posted on a msg board, my media player wouldn’t open (it would start and close in less then a second and make a sound like something downloaded) so I assumed it was a bad link.
Later I tried to download some content from a site and when I clicked on the link, I got a search engine, so I thought it was her and told her to fix her links. Then I decided to try that .wmz link again since my wife got it to work on her pc, and still it would not play, so I went to windows.com and tried to download windows media player 9, and when I click on the link, I got the search engine page again. Any idea what this would be? A virus? Something corrupted? I ran webshredder (said nothing found) and now instead of the search engine I get http:/// I ran spybot S&D and nothing. HELP! I can not even load the WMP9 from the start menu and my own movies will not work. |
